4th Young Medics International Conference
Message from the 4th YMIC President
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our great pleasure to cordially invite you to participate in the Fourth Young Medics’ International Conference (4th YMIC-2007) which will take place on September 20-23, 2007.
As the preceding three conferences (2001, 2003, 2005), the 4th YMIC is being organized under the auspices of the National Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Health, Yerevan State Medical University, National Institute of Health, Department of Health and Social Affairs of Yerevan Municipality and Armenian Medical Association. The Conference gained a resounding success with eminent speakers and about 200 participants. We believe it is an excellent chance for young talents to be recognized and promoted.
The YMIC-2007 is going to be a unique platform encouraging the establishment of productive dialogues on the most important issues of medicine among young doctors and scientists from Armenia and other countries. The issues of modern diagnostic standards, clinical policy making, contemporary treatment options, and many other problems will be discussed. New research frontiers are to be discovered during the conference plenary lectures on Neuroscience, Sleep Medicine, Current problems in Cardiology etc.
The program will include state-of-the-art lectures from recognized Faculty, debates and round tables complementary to the scientific sessions.
Toward this end we call all young researchers to take an active part in the 4th YMIC-2007 and to submit the results of their recent research work. The best papers will be awarded by honorary Conference President Award and many other valuable prizes. There will be also a limited amount of travel and accommodation grants for participants from developing countries.
Interesting cultural events and tours throughout Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh will be organized in the framework of the Conference.
We would like to offer you an event of high scientific value and a truly memorable visit to Yerevan and Armenia.
Let us get through the gate of the undiscovered together.

The 4th YMIC electronic abstract submission site is open from February 15 to May 31, 2007, for general abstract submission.
